Please read through the terms and conditions before submitting the order. By submitting an order, you agree to accept the terms and conditions. In case of disputes, the decision of Finesse Patisserie shall be final and binding.

Order

Yes, you are welcome to pre-order large cakes in-store, however for your convenience, we recommend placing the order online as you can use online payment and receive email confirmation.

*At the moment we only take pre-order on large cakes. Other items are first come first serve in store. You may call our shop number (60101523) for real-time enquiry.

To ensure availability, please pre-order at least 3 days before your pickup date (excluding the pickup day). We accept pre-orders up to three weeks in advance.

We occasionally have ready-made large cakes in-store.

Our cake selections rotate seasonally, and the website is updated accordingly. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate custom design requests at this time. 

All our cakes are made to order with daily production capacity. During checkout, you may select from the available pickup/delivery dates.

Dates not listed are either fully booked, our day off, or reserved for special events. We appreciate your understanding.

Yes, by selecting the "Add Custom Wording" option on the cake product page and enter your desired message in the field below.

Character limits: Up to 30 English letters OR 10 Chinese characters (no emojis)

Full payment is required upon order submission to confirm your booking.

We accept:

  • Credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express)
  • FPS (Faster Payment System)
  • Bank transfer

After submitting your order and completing payment, you'll receive a confirmation email. If you have any questions, please WhatsApp for assistance.

Each order may be modified once free of charge. Requests must be made at least 3 days before the pickup date. Subsequent changes will incur a HK$50 administrative fee.

Note: Modifications include but are not limited to cake design, size, quantity, birthday message plaque, pickup date/time.

Changes cannot be made on the same pickup day. If you're unable to collect, you may:

  • Arrange delivery (subject to availability)
  • Authorize someone else to pick up on your behalf

For paid orders, cancellations due to personal reasons must be requested at least 3 days in advance. Uncollected cakes on the scheduled date will be forfeited without refund.

This usually occurs if contact details were entered incorrectly. You may still collect your order using the order number (e.g. #5928).

If the order number is lost, contact us immediately via WhatsApp and provide verifiable details (e.g., name used for the order, phone number, pickup date).


Pickup / Delivery

As a small business, we rely on third-party logistics to ensure freshness—all cakes are baked fresh in the morning and delivered in the afternoon.

Delivery Time: 12 – 4 PM (arranged by driver's route of the day)

Driver will call ahead to confirm; please meet at the ground floor to avoid parking fines. Please note that we pack the cakes with care however incidents may occur and we are not responsible for any risks during transit.

Delivery Fee (set by delivery provider):

  • Hong Kong Island: $180
  • Kowloon: $140
  • New Territories: $100–160 (quoted by area at checkout)

Fee is charged per address, per day. For multiple addresses/dates, please place separate orders.

Yes, in most cases! For special/remote arrangements, please WhatsApp for assistance.

If you’re unable to pick up, please schedule for delivery in advance or ask a family member or friend for help.

⚠️ We do not provide same-day deliveries.

Each purchase with a birthday plaque will come with one candle.

To support sustainability, forks are available upon request at shop pickup.

Shelf life varies by product. For best quality, consume promptly.

Chilled cakes: Refrigerate at 4°C within 1 hour of pickup, consume within 1-2 days

Room-temperature cakes (with silica gel): Store in a cool, dry place or fridge and consume within 4 days

Room-temperature cakes (without silica gel): Consume within 2 days

No, we do not offer pre-cutting.


Severe Weather Policy

If Typhoon Signal No. 8+ or Black Rainstorm Warning is in effect:

  • All deliveries/pickups for that day are paused.
  • Our shop will close, and orders will berescheduled. We’ll contact you to arrange a new date.

Rescheduling Rules:

  • To postpone pickup, notify us through WhatsApp by 3:00 PM the day before your scheduled date.
  • New dates must be booked at least 3 days in advance.
  • If your original cake design is sold out/unavailable, you’ll need to select an alternative (price differences will be adjusted).
